O livro Pitaya surgiu a partir da observação e registro fotográfico da fruta como proposta de trabalho da matéria de Biônica da PUC-Rio. Ele busca mostrar sua cor, textura interna e externa e suco com proximidade. Há uma narrativa da fruta sendo consumida, o foco começa em sua casca, passa para o seu corte e, por sua vez, sua parte interna, o suco gerado por ela, e, por fim, a casca vazia.

The book Pitaya emerged from the observation and photographic documentation of the fruit as a project for the Biophysics course at PUC-Rio. It aims to showcase the fruit's color, internal and external texture, and juice up close. The narrative follows the journey of the fruit being consumed, starting with its skin, moving to its cut, then its interior, the juice produced by it, and finally, the empty skin.
